Water-coloring with Stenciled background greeting cards

Hi all... sharing my next set of cards with water-colored images and here I have used stenciled backgrounds as mat layer for the cards.
I have used stencils from different brands like DressMyCraft and Craftreat, mixed and matched Distress inks and Distress oxide inks for the background.

I also created few background using heat embossed resist technique with gold embossing and also did stenciling on top of that.

Even though these are busy backgrounds, I used various colors with contrast and make the flowers pop out. I enjoyed my time coloring these beauties and my next step would be No-line water-coloring. Hope to see you all soon with more variety of projects and inspirations... ☺

Water-coloring with Dry embossed background greeting cards.

Hello everyone... hope you all are safe and in good health..
I did some water-coloring to relax myself during these quarantine period and ended up creating cards with all the colored images.
I have been wanting to do water-coloring with Altenew stamps and pulled out my little collection of floral stamps I had in my stash.

I used the Brusto - Artist watercolor papers and stamped many images of the flowers and leaves with Archival Jet Black ink and some with white and gold heat embossing.
The stamp sets I used are Beautiful day set, Wallpaper art set, Peony Bouquet set and Garden treasures set.
For the colors I used distress inks and Craftangles liquid watercolors and once all my images were dried I fussy-cut them out.
I wanted to incorporate these into cards but did not like the idea of simple plain cards.
So did some dry embossing using few embossing folders from my stash, distressed them using Distress oxide inks and used them as the mat layer for the cards.
All my cards measure 4.5'' x 6.5'' in size and I have used Neenah Solar White card-stock for the embossed panels. I used some sentiments also from Altenew and some Nuvo drops as embellishments.

Explosion Box - Baby theme - June month Creative Inspirator project - Simply Fantastic Creations.

Hello Everyone.. today Im sharing my latest project created for Simply Fantastic Creations as June month Creative Inspirator.
I was requested to create a project with the colors from the
mood-board and baby theme.
I simply wanted to create something which was not a layout or a card. So ended up creating an Explosion box with a Baby Stroller incorporating all the colors
from the mood-board.
The designer papers I used was from DressMyCraft-Floral Symphony collection.
This collection had the apt colors for the theme. I created the baby stroller also using the same papers as well as embellishing it with pearls brads, ribbon and buttons.
I created flowers using the Delightful Daisies stamp and die set from Heartfelt creations, colored them with archival inks and shaped them using the groove golf tools.

I have also used die-cuts using dies from DressMyCraft, ICraft and few from AartyCrafty by Shalini Agarwal as well. Finished off the project by adding some sequins, Nuvo drops and sprinkled glitter on the floral arrangement.
I have also added hand written sentiments for baby showers and blessings. I loved creating this project and how it all came up beautifully with coordinating papers.
