Elegant Swirls Gateway dies

Hello everyone... today I'm sharing 2 cards I created using the new release from Heartfelt Creations - Elegant Swirls Gateway dies.

I created this card using the swing fold technique, keeping the center as the interactive element. The card measure 11x7.5" in size.

I used papers from Heartfelt Creations - Hydrangea Lawn collection. 

I also used some die-cuts for the corners, around the frame and also for the focal element.

The flowers are created using the Oakberry Lane collection, added a small bird for one of the flower arrangement. Here I have used some pocket inserts as a section for writing the message.

The second card here is again with the same Elegant Swirls Gateway dies 

but have used them as a shaker element to go on the front as a focal element.

I created these flowers using the Classic Rose collection along with some contrast color filler flowers, just around the corner. 

Added a sentiment along the bottom of the shaker and some flat back pearls around them.

I loved this Elegant Swirls Gateways die as it is so versatile to use in your projects. I would be sharing more beautiful projects soon... 😊

Altered Violin Decor

Hello everyone... I would love to share my new project here - an altered violin. 

I wanted a bit of dimension for the violin, so I glued a thick cardstock strip along the edges of the violin base. Once all was dried and set, I used some clay embellishments along the handle of the violin, and adhered it to the base.

Later I applied 2 coats of cream colored chalk paint and once it dried, I distressed all the edges with some Rusty Hinge distress ink. I took few die-cuts from DressMyCraft classic doily die and Heartfelt Creations - Starry nights decorative dies, Sweetheart border dies; distressed them using the same Rusty Hinge ink and glued on the base.

I applied 2 coats of Aqua-stone varnish on the whole project and left for drying. Later, I created some flowers and leaves using the Delightful Daisies stamp and dies set from Heartfelt Creations on Vellum and adhered them with an arrangement as shown in the picture.

Finally I used some flat back pearls to add up the beauty of the project and completed with a final coat of spray varnish all over the flowers.
