Heartfelt Creations DT - Special Birthday Z-fold card

Hello everyone.. welcome to yet another beautiful day with a new inspiration. 

This is a Z-fold card created with the beautiful Wild Asters..

The ready Z-fold card base measures 8 x 6" in size. To create the card base, cut a white card stock to size 8 x 12" and score along the long side at 3" and 6" to create a zigzag folded base. Using designer papers from HCDP1-2111 - Cottage Garden Paper Collection cut pieces for each of the sides keeping a border of 1/16" on all sides and adhere on the card base. Cut another piece of white card stock 4 x 11", score at 5" and 8" on the long side, fold and adhere to the card base as shown. Add mat layers on each of the folds using the designer paper again, keeping 1/16" border on all sides. 

Using HCD1-7202 - Album Tags and Accents Die, cut the largest tag on white card stock and trim the sides to fit inside the inner panel of the card. Add a mat layer with the designer paper keeping a very fine border, punch a hole on the top. Adhere this to inner panel adding a ribbon on the top of the tag. Use HCD1-7263 - Swirly Accent Spray Die to die-cut 1 decorative piece on white card stock, slightly sponge with Periwinkle ink and adhere it to the bottom of the tag. Use HCD1-7305 - Ornate Ovals Die to die-cut another decorative oval on white card stock, stamp the sentiment from HCPC-3843 - Special Birthday Sentiments Cling Stamp Set with Periwinkle ink, sponge the edges with the same ink and adhere it on the top of the tag as shown. 

Cut 1 piece from the largest and 3 from the center decorative accent on white card stock withHCD1-7271 - Rounded Window Frame Die. Add a mat circle piece for the largest decorative circle with designer paper. 

Stack and adhere the smaller decorative accents together to give a thick accent piece. Use HCD1-7213 - Elegant Pocket Accents Die to die-cut 1 piece of the decorative accent on white card stock and sponge the edges slightly with Periwinkle ink. Adhere all these ready elements on the front panel as shown using dries clear glue and dimensional tape. 

Stamp several of the medium and smaller flowers using HCPC-3887 - Wild Aster Cling Stamp Set on white card stock with Fern Green ink. Color them using Vivid Chartreuse and Aquamarine inks, cut them using the coordinating dies and shape using the stylus tools. Stack 2 large and 1 small petals for the larger flowers and 2 small petals each for the smallest flowers, add white micro pearls for the centers. Stamp the leaves with Fern Green ink and color using Vivid Chartreuse, cut using the coordinating dies and sponge the edges with Cobalt ink. Shape the leaves lightly using stylus tool. Stamp several images of the smallest aster spray using HCPC-3888 - Wild Aster Spray Cling Stamp Set on white card stock with Fern Green ink. Color the images using Pink Peony and Fern Green, cut using the coordinating dies and add crystal clear glitter by sponging some dries clear glue. 

Cut 2 of the small tag images from the designer paper using HCD1-7203 - Ornamental Tags Die, stamp the sentiment on one using HCPC-3845 Just For You Sentiments Cling Stamp Set with Periwinkle ink, use the preprinted tag for the other, sponge the edges with the same ink and add white twine for each of the tags. Using the large flower image from HCPC-3906 - Small Wild Rose Cling Stamp Set, stamp and white heat emboss several images on Vellum and cut using the coordinating die. Arrange all the flowers, leaves, spray and the tags on the card as shown and adhere them using hot glue. Similarly add the white heat embossed flowers and Nuvo crystal drops randomly over the card as accents.

Hello and happy Wednesday everyone... today I would like to share another inspiration with the new Mushroom Cottage Collection from Heartfelt Creations.

So lets start with the instructions on how I created this beautiful card..

Cut a base of cream card stock of size 8 x 11", score and fold to make 8 x 5 1/2" size card base. Use sheet 12B from HCDP1-2140 - Mushroom Cottage Paper Collection to cut 2 pieces of 7 7/8 x 5 1/8" size sheets, slightly sponge the edges with Cactus Flower ink and adhere each on 

the front and inside of the card.

Use HCD1-7191 -Intricate Swirl Frames Die to cut 2 pieces of the rectangle frame, stack each of them using dimensional tape and adhere on the front of the card to the exact center. Use HCD1-776 - Eyelet Oval Die and cut 1 piece each from cream card stock and sheet 7B from the paper collection. Sponge the designer paper piece with Cactus Flower ink on the edges and stack it with the cream color piece slightly off-centered, adhere this on the center of the rectangle frame using dimensional tape. Cut another oval piece on cream card stock, score the entire piece on every 1/8th inch from the back, sponge the edges with Cactus Flower ink and adhere it to the center of the card as shown.

Stamp the image of fairy from HCPC-3991 - Mushroom Fairies Cling Stamp Set on white card stock with Jet Black ink, color the image using water colors and cut using the coordinating die. Stamp several images of the leaf accents from HCPC-3992 Mushroom Cottage Accents Cling Stamp Set and HCPC-3989 - Large Mushroom Cottage Cling Stamp Set on white card stock using Fern Green ink, color them using water colors and cut using their coordinating dies. Sponge the edges of the leaves using Cobalt ink.

Stamp several images of the flowers from HCPC-3911 - Wisteria Petals Cling Stamp Set with Aquamarine ink, several of the smallest flowers from HCPC-3906 - Small Wild Rose Cling Stamp Set with Cactus Flower ink on white card stock. Color these images using Aquamarine, Cactus Flower and Rose Madder inks, cut using their coordinating dies and shape them using the stylus tool. Add white micro pearls using dries clear glue for each of the flower centers. Arrange all the ready elements on the card front using hot glue and dimensional tape as shown.

Use HCD1-7203 - Ornamental Tags Die to cut 2 pieces of the decorative tag on cream card stock, stack and adhere them together. Using HCPC-3845 - Just For You Sentiments Cling Stamp Set, stamp the sentiment on the die-cut using Cactus flower ink and sponge the edges slightly with the same ink. 

Add this to the bottom of the flower arrangement using dimensional tape.

Heartfelt Creations DT - Fairy Land

Here I'm sharing the new release for this month from Heartfelt Creations - Mushroom Cottage Collection. If you would like to see the HFC gallery along with the complete products list, please click HERE .

Lets start with the instructions here for this one of a kind beautiful Fairy Land..

Cut a base of 8 1/2x11" out of cream card stock, score and fold to make a card base of size 8 1/2x6". Cut another cream card stock piece of 10x10" and create a shadow box of 6x6" size with 1/2" width. Use sheet 4A to cut a piece of 5 1\2x5 1\2” size, and adhere it to the inside part of the shadow box. Using sheet 3B from HCDP1-2140 - Mushroom Cottage Paper Collection, cut 2 piece each of size 8 1/8x5 7/8" and adhere them on the front and inside of the card. Use HCD1-7263 - Swirly Accent Spray Die to cut 4 corner die-cuts on cream card stock and adhere them on each of the corners inside the card base. Cut a piece of sheet 8B from the paper collection to size 6x6" and cut a 5 1\2" circle on the exact center, to create a window. Use HCD1-7212 - Petite Pocket Accents die on cream card stock and die-cut 4 pieces of the border. Using Aged Mahogany distress ink, sponge lightly on the edges of all the elements. Adhere 2 of the border along with the circle window on the shadow box and 2 on either end of the card base. Adhere the shadow on the center of the card front as shown. 

Stamp several images using HCPC-3989 - Large Mushroom Cottage Cling Stamp Set, HCPC-3990 - Mini Mushroom Cottages Cling Stamp Set, HCPC-3991 - Mushroom Fairies Cling Stamp Set, HCPC-3992 - Mushroom Cottage Accents Cling Stamp Set onto white card stock with Jet Black ink and the leaf accents with Fern green ink. Color all images using water colors and cut them using their coordinating dies. Sponge the edges of the leaf accents using Cobalt ink. For the large and mini mushroom cottages, stamp, color and cut all the images of the doors and windows. Using dries clear glue, add glitter on all the elements and tap off the excess. Arrange and adhere all these elements on the card front, using dimensional tape and hot glue.

On vellum sheet, stamp 12x smallest wild rose from HCPC-3906 - Small Wild Rose Cling Stamp Set and white heat emboss the images. Color the front and back of each flowers using Majestic Violet ink and cut them using the coordinating dies. Shape each of the flowers using stylus tool and add white micro pearls for the center. Sponge some dries clear glue on the edges of each of the flowers and add crystal clear glitter.

Arrange these flowers on the card front as shown and adhere them using hot glue.
