You make me Smile - 4x4 Mini album - #DMCCROWNSTAGE3

Welcome again to my blog.. Im sharing my latest project created for the DressMyCraft - DMC Crown contest. I was so excited to get through the first 2 levels of the contest and enjoyed creating the new projects. For the final round, we were asked to make a 4x4 mini album with a box/basket to keep the album. Shalini Mittal was also so generous to provide us with the goodies to make the album.

This album can hold up to 32 photos, with many pockets and folds. The pattern papers I used was from Whispering Love paper pack from DressMyCraft.

Along with the many pockets and folds, I have created one section with 'Inside surprise spinner' card, few pages with small shaker elements, like the one below and another section with Twist-n-Flip pop-up.

You can check the video of my album by clicking the link here.

The box I created is of 5x5" size to fit the album, with a gate fold opening and decorated the sides using the same paper pack. All the other embellishments and flower making making materials are also from DressMyCraft/CraftersCorner.

Birthday shaker card - Most beautiful day !!

What is more special than our dear ones birthdays... As my dear brother started a new beginning in his life to serve the people of God's community...wanted to give him something special on his birthday..Sharing my latest project I created for my brother's birthday.

I used a Ivory card base measuring 9 1/2" x 6 1/2" and layered pattern papers from one of my favorite DMC pattern papers - Pink Smoke paper pack, for the top and the inside part of the card base.

I used a shaker element as the focal point using sequins and flower pearls from DressMyCraft along with few butterfly sequins from my stash. The shaker element is added on top of several layers of die-cuts using Heartfelt Creations Majestic Swirl Frames dies. Stacked them on top of each other with foam tapes to give extra dimension.
For the flowers and leaves I used the beautiful Wild Rose stamp and die set from Heartfelt Creations. I colored the flowers using Tea Rose and Rose Madder inks from Archival, shaped and stacked them using DressMyCraft flower pollens. For the leaves, I stamped and colored them using Watering Can, Shadow Grey and Fren Green Archival inks.
I did a simple arrangement with the flowers and leaves around the shaker element, after adding some glitter and flowers pearls on them. I have also added some die-cut pieces using the Swirly Border Accents die from Heartfelt Creations.
I finished off the card by adding sentiments from Altenew - Beautiful Day stamp set as well as few butterflies cut out from the same paper collection. Hoping to come up with many more projects for inspiration.. 😍
