Today I'm sharing a very beautiful slim-line card I created using vellum flowers.
The card base measures 9x4.5" in size. I have used the same Off-White color cardstock for the base as well as the die-cuts, except for the few gold layers. To create the first background layer, I took a piece of 3.5x8" size Off-White cardstock and scored along the length of it, then layered it on top of gold cardstock which is 1/4th of an inch larger in size.
On top of the background layer I used a lace die-cut with gold using one of my favorite lace dies from DieCutsAndMore. Then used few other die-cuts from Heartfelt Creations, building layers on top of one another using foam tapes to give dimension.
I created few flowers and leaves by gold heat embossing on vellum using the Wild Rose stamp and dies collection from Heartfelt Creations. I loved the idea of using gold on vellum, it gives such elegant look on the flowers; this technique is also used for sentiments.
Adhered the flowers on the top most layer of the die-cuts element and completed the card with a sentiment,
also layered with a gold die-cut piece. I loved how this card turned out, simple yet elegant.. 😊
