Foamiran Poinsettias.

My love for making flowers keep growing and love creating them with different materials.
This is my first project using foamiran and created this beautiful poinsettias..

For the flowers, I used white foamiran sheet and dark green for the leaves .

The sheets were first cut in shapes of the leaf, as for poinsettia both the flower and leaf have the same shape.
Each piece was then given heat to make it soft and then pressed on the desired mold to give that definition of leaf veins.
Colored the petals with soft oil pastels to give it more depth and look realistic.
Each petals were attached to a thin wire and given a caot of mod podge to lock the color.
The petals were arranged and tied into flowers with handmade stamens(made with Thai clay) in the centre.

I have also used some handmade berries made with clay, attached them with some leaves into a spray and  covered with  flocking powder to make them look real.

The flowers , leaves and berries were then tied up and arranged into a poinsettia plant.
The plant was fixed to a small vase with POP.
